As it is extracted from an internal document of GF Securities based on information from the component supply chain in Asia, we will soon see new smartphones with triple rear camera . And is that the recent Huawei Mate Series 20 will be added other models like the Xiaomi Mi 9 or Oppo R18 Pro .
The Samsung Galaxy A9 is the first on the market to have four cameras in the back. However, the triple chamber configuration seems to be the one to be standardized. The Huawei P20 Pro , and more recently the Huawei Mate 20 Series, has been one of the models that have shown how much it affects the quality of the photos. Some results that we will soon see expanded to other models such as the Xiaomi Mi 9 , Oppo R18 Pro , Vivo X Series or even the Huawei P30 Pro itself .
Smartphones with triple rear camera for early 2019
During the first quarter of 2019 more and more smartphones with triple rear camera will begin to arrive, given the good results offered by models such as the Huawei P20 Pro.
The filtration of which we echo names the first models to land with three cameras in the back. This is where the interest in filtration lies, given that the document we refer to marks the Xiaomi Mi 9 as one of the highlights.
Similarly, Oppo seems willing to continue innovating in the photographic section of the Oppo R18 Pro, a model that also appears in the list. Vivo also points in this direction, since it would implement this configuration of three cameras in the Vivo X Series terminal range.
Huawei, a forerunner in this field, it seems clear that it will keep this section of hardware in its future Huawei P30 Pro, with some difference from the rest.
48-megapixel main sensor
Based on the documents filtered by the Androidpure portal, in the coming months we will start to see more and more smartphones with triple rear camera. A configuration that would be based mainly on the Sony IMX586 sensor , which would reach a maximum resolution of 48 megapixels and seven elements lens.
The same, with a size of 1 / 2.3 inches, an area of 29 square millimeters and a pixel size of 0.8 microns, would be accompanied by two other sensors yet to be determined, with resolutions of 13 and 16 megapixels.
However, there will be variants regarding the third sensor, normally assigned for telephoto functions. In this sense, the maximum resolution would remain at 8 megapixels and correspond, as the filtered document illustrates, to models such as the Huawei P30 Pro and Vivo X Series.
