We were already some time without news about serious failures of WhatsApp, and finally, the waiting time has been broken . The world’s largest messaging application has a frenetic pace of updates and, from time to time, we encounter some kind of problem.
During the last days, some users have been reporting failures in the application, related to the reproduction of the audios that we sent. It is not clear if the failure affects all users or not, however, the tests that we have done in the team of Andro4all are enough to estimate opportune to warn you , and tell you what is the solution to this problem.
The WhatsApp bug that prevents you from playing audios
The version of WhatsApp in which we have had this failure is the one that corresponds to the numbering 2.18.205 . In this version, we have found a very serious problem, which prevents us from playing the audios we have sent.
As soon as we send an audio, the terminal sends us the following message if we try to reproduce it: Sorry, the media file does not exist in your internal storage . Whatsapp is unable to find the file that we just sent , and considers it as lost, as if we had deleted it. It is not fixed by closing the app, reinstalling it or anything like that, the error persists.

The solution? The obvious! WhatsApp has just released a new version that corrects this error, so you just have to go to the Google application store, and update WhatsApp to the latest version. Until yesterday, we were suffering the error in several of our phones, and social networks have told us that some has happened to you. In principle, update to the latest version, as we said, solves the problem.
