Spotify Lite is here, and it has come as a surprise. The popular streaming music company has decided to revitalize its service by launching an application specifically designed for those users whose devices do not stand out precisely because of their raw power or good performance. That is, for the low end of all life.
And, for a long time there have been many companies that have chosen to develop a new application with the last name “Lite” that would require less resources at the time of being used, and a smaller space in our device. Spotify Lite is already on Google Play, and we will see everything that is known, for now, of this new application.
Spotify Lite has arrived to give a breath of fresh air to the Spotify of your low-end mobile
Spotify Lite, as you can imagine by its last name, is a version of the Spotify application -developed also by Spotify Ltd.- that aims to provide a better performance than this application in low-end terminals, in addition to occupying a smaller space in the storage of our device, what it gets, since we only need 15 MB to install it.
This way, if you are a Spotify user and you have a mobile with only 8 GB or 16 GB of internal storage, Spotify Lite will come to you as May water, and the best thing of all is that, a priori, there do not seem to be too many differences with respect to the full version of the application.
Quite the contrary, since we are going to find a section in which we will be able to manage the data consumption of Spotify Lite, so that we can establish a limit to them so as not to exceed our telephone rate. Although, yes, at the design level it seems that we will find some differential point, as the existence of only three sections in the lower bar.
Spotify Lite has reached Google Play, but the truth is that it is still in version 0.6, so it is a Beta that is not yet available to download worldwide, but for that we will have to wait for the release of the stable version, about which, at the moment, we do not have information, although we do not believe that it will take too long.
How do you like Spotify Lite? Are you going to use this reduced version of the streaming music application?
