Oppo has just presented a new mid-range terminal in India, its name is Oppo A3s , and as you can guess, it is a review of one of its best-selling terminals in the company, the O A3 ppo , which we announced a few days ago that would be the first terminals in go on sale in Spain .
The Oppo A3s brings as its main novelties a photographic system on its back that is now done dual and a very noticeable increase in battery which now exceeds 4000 mAh. Although it is a somewhat limited smartphone in terms of performance, it has enough power to get a good Android experience and other interesting extras. Let’s see what to expect from it.
These are the characteristics of the Oppo A3s
According to Will Yang, Oppo brand manager for India Brand, the Oppo A3s is especially focused on the younger audience, so it has not been sought to get a very powerful smartphone, but a device with good photographic capabilities and a battery capable to endure all day despite making numerous photographs with the terminal.
The Oppo A3s integrates the same screen 6.2 inches , although the resolution is now somewhat more discreet as it is HD + (720 × 1520 pixels) and occupies 88. 8% of the front of the phone thanks to the use of notch.
The Mediatek Helio P60 of the Oppo A3 has been changed here by a Qualcomm SoC Snapdragon 450 (1.8GHz) of 8 cores, and the amount of RAM goes down from 4GB to the 2 GB of capacity, while storage goes from 128 GB to 16 GB capacity.
If you look at the photographic capabilities of the Oppo A3s, we see how we went from a single 16Mpx rear sensor to a dual one with resolutions of 13MP + 2MP, although the front camera is still 8 Mpx, so we assume that it’s the same sensor with opening F . 2.2 of the original A3.
Although we do not have much information about it, we assume that this new dual system will add new photographic functions among which possibly the well-known portrait mode, in addition to the usual modes of beauty ( AI Beauty Technology 2.0 ) to improve our photographs.
As we said before, the Oppo A3s has one of its main strengths in the battery, and that is that we now have a capacity of 4,230mA, which is a good push from the 3400mAh of the Oppo A3. The operating system chosen is Android 8.1 Oreo modified by the interface ColorOS 5.1 .
The Oppo A3s will be sold in India from next July 15 in Flipkart, Amazon and other physical stores and will be available in purple and red colors. If this device follows the path of its predecessor, it is very possible that we see it sooner rather than later also in Spain.
Oppo plans to tread very strongly in Europe
Coinciding with the presentation of the Oppo A3s, we have also known that Oppo intends to be one of the main manufacturers in the European market. You know the presentation of the Oppo Find X and we announce that the series A and R would be the first to arrive to Spain, but what we did not imagine is that Oppo would present a total of 40 telephones in European countries.
It turns out that Oppo has registered up to 40 devices in the British Intellectual Property Office and in the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), and the most curious thing is that some of those devices, if not many of them, are smartphones that have not even been officially presented yet, which shows that Europe will be a market for first level for this company.
Specifically, these would be the phones that would be presented sooner or later in Europe: OPPO A11, A13, A15, A17, A19, A21, AX5, AX7, AX9, AX11, AX13, AX15, AX17, AX19, FX7, FX9, FX11 , FX13, FX15, FX17, R23, R25, R27, R29, R31, R33, RX17, RX19, RX21, RX25, RX25, RX27, RX29, RX31, UX1, UX3, UX5, UX7, UX9 and UX11.
It is complicated that Oppo can make a large number of launches in a short time, so this record suggests that the company has wanted to cover their backs and have the names registered for the future. But beyond that, it helps us to get an idea of what to expect and the level of ambition of Oppo’s plans for Europe and Spain.
