How does the iPhone X look?
The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch screen squeezed into a body smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus. Apple said that it has been their goal to create “an iPhone that is the whole screen”.
Apple has removed the iconic iPhone start button, which has been present on all devices since the first iPhone launched in 2007. It has also removed the front fingerprint scanner, which has been adopted by many other leading brands.
On the other hand the iPhone X It has an almost bezel-free design with the screen covering almost the entire front of the phone. To accommodate the selfie front camera and facial recognition, the screen has a slight notch that retracts at the top.

No start button (or Touch ID)
More of a controversy than a better feature, Apple has dropped the start button, which has been present since the original iPhone and was used to control many aspects of the iPhone, including unlocking with the built-in fingerprint scanner.
Instead, the iPhone X uses gestural controls to unlock. Several functions of the start button, such as activation of Siri, will be transferred to the blocking switch. Users can control the phone by sliding from the bottom or simply by tapping the screen.
ID of the face
Apple’s TrueDepth camera system allows users to unlock their phone simply by looking at it. Facial recognition technology replaces Touch ID as a way to identify users through an infrared camera.
The face ID will only be unlocked if the user’s eyes are open. Apple said there is a “one in a million” opportunity for someone else to unlock the iPhone using technology. The face ID will also work with Apple Pay and other applications that work with Touch ID.
The iPhone X is the first iPhone that comes with wireless charging, which is already available on the Apple Watch and the rival Samsung Galaxy S8.
Apple will also launch a wireless charging platform, called AirPower, which will be able to charge multiple devices at once. It will be released next year
Super retinal screen from edge to edge
The chief designer of Apple, Sir Jony Ive, long ago his goal of creating an iPhone that looked like a single sheet of glass. The iPhone X has realized this design, with a screen of 5.8 inches from edge to edge that covers the entire front of the phone, except for a small notch at the top.
It will have a resolution screen 2438 × 1125 with 458 pixels per inch and an OLED screen.
The iPhone X has been used to show some of the augmented reality experiences that Apple debuted with its ARKit software, released at this year’s WWDC. Augmented reality allows iPhone users to superimpose virtual images, games and videos to real-world objects and is a field in which Apple has really taken the initiative of rivals such as Google.
The X can also use 3D tracking capabilities of its selfie camera to impose masks using AR for applications like Snapchat.
Emoji is a new form of mobile emoji that can be customized with facial recognition software. Users can scan their face and animoji will match their expression in a short animation.
The function will only be available in the iPhone Premium X, since it requires the 3D camera. Apple has created a limited selection of animoji from its hundreds of emoji, including the monkey, the unicorn, the robot, the dog, the pig, the cat, the dog and the bunch of poo.
