Despite how new it is, Huawei has not hesitated to give a little more boost to its already powerful Mate 20 Pro . The Chinese company has released an update that not only improves some aspects of security; also add new features to your super camera.
Huawei announced its new Mate 20 Pro a few weeks ago at an event held in London where we could see all its benefits first-hand. The smartphone of the house boasts, among other things, a powerful photographic system that is now enhanced with new features that will surely be well received by its users.
Update with new filters and recording mode
The update within EMUI 9 weighs 359 MB and puts the system in version 184.108.40.206. With it you receive the latest Google security patches, corresponding to the month of October, while adding, as we have already told you, certain improvements in the camera.
The photographic novelties have to do with the addition of new filters and effects for taking images, as we can see in the screenshots that you have a little below. It includes the possibility to also apply the AI Color mode and the effects of background and vintage blur while it is being recorded directly.
Likewise, a new feature is added: AI Zoom (zoom with artificial intelligence), which will adjust the focus intelligently and automatically in the videos to improve its clarity and quality.
Remember that the smartphone has three sensors : one of 40 megapixels with aperture f / 1.8 wide angle; another 20 MP with f / 2.2 ultra wide-angle; and a third of 8 MP with f / 2.4 telephoto aperture (with optical image stabilization).
As for the rest of the qualities, we have a smartphone with a 6.9-inch OLED screen (with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a density of 538 dpi) that moves thanks to the thrust of an eight-core Kirin 980 processor, with 6 or 8 GB, according to configuration, and a battery module of 4,200 mAh. It has 128 GB, which you can expand using the new NM Card standard.
We have checked the availability of this update in our test unit and at least in our case, the package is now ready to install . You just have to go to Phone Settings, go down to the last option of the menu, where it says System and enter “Software Update”. Click on this option and the phone will look for available updates. I should then show you this update. All yours.
