If you notice, the Mate 20 Pro takes a jump very similar to the one that hits the Mate 20 with respect to its predecessor. The phone, whose image you have then, has a larger screen than the previous generation, betting on the 6.39 inches OLED with QHD + resolution compared to 6 inches (also OLED) with Full HD + last year. This also comes with support for integrated fingerprint sensor , while the Mate 10 Pro, of course, offers this reader the old fashioned way, on your back.
There is also a significant change in thickness , eye, with a Mate 20 Pro phone that is now thicker and taller, although narrower.
As in the “no Pro” versions, here also Kirin 980 reigns in the new generation, along with the same gigs of RAM and storage as the Mate 10 Pro. The difference? The presence of the new NM Card versus the microSD.
Again the camera is another of the indisputable protagonists, with a triple sensor that leaves behind the pair of rear cameras that brought the Mate 10 Pro. This has a sensor of 20 MP and another of 12 MP, in addition to a camera front of 8 MP, which are somewhat “short” if we compare them with the three sensors of 40, 20 and 8 MP, in addition to the 24 MP that placed on the front for taking selfies.
Both phones enjoy Android , in the Pie version for the new Mate 20 Pro and Oreo for the Mate 10 Pro. We also find a slight difference in the resistance certification , which goes up to IP68, compared to the IP67 of the model year 2017 -del that you have a picture below and a little below, by the way.
The battery may seem a priori that does not contribute much , but that increase to 4,200 mAh (compared to 4,000 of the Mate 10 pro) along with support for Qi wireless charging and Wireless Reverse Charging are undoubtedly an added bonus to consider.
Last but not least, we should look at the price . The new Mate 20 Pro has a cost of XXX euros compared to the 799 euros that the Mate 10 Pro was hung when it was launched last year.
Do you think it makes up for the change? Are you going to get the Mate 20 Pro?
