For some reason that is still unknown today, Spotify has taken several years to include in its Android application an option that is basic in any musical service: the possibility of Sort songs from a playlist. Only a couple of weeks ago, that this option would be available sooner or later in the platform’s Android app, although no specific date was specified.
But Spotify has not only kept its word, but has done so in record time, since the latest version of the Spotify app for Android already allows Manually change the order of the songs in any playlist associated to our account.
Change the order of the songs in your Spotify lists
The option to change the order of the songs in the playlists has begun to be available in the version 188.8.131.523 of the app , released over the last week through Google Play. Therefore, if you still do not see this feature on your mobile, you may not have the latest version of the app installed.
Otherwise, the process for change the order of the songs in any playlist is simple. Just have to follow the next steps :
- Open the playlist where you want to change the order of the songs.
- Click on the three point menu located in the upper right part of the screen.
- Select the option “Edit playlist” .
- A new window will open with all the songs in the list. To change the order, drag any of them to the desired position from the three horizontal bars on the right.
As you can see, it is a very simple process and that without a doubt for many may be basic, but that until this week it was not possible to perform on Spotify through its Android application.
