Another of the clashes that we could not ignore is the Pixel 3 XL with the previous generation. The new version of the Google phone has included major changes at the software level, but perhaps the hardware is not too surprising at first glance.
So in order to be clear about the main changes included in the new terminal, we have prepared a comparative table so that you can verify for yourself the differences and similarities between the two Google devices.
Very similar designs
The incorporation of the notch in the Pixel 3 XL is possibly the most daring brushstroke that Google has been able to give when designing the phone. The rest of the device remains the same, as the back continues to maintain a single camera with flash, and a fingerprint reader that will take care of biometric security.
Leaving aside the eyebrow of the screen, the panel arrives with the same resolution and a slightly lower pixel density, changes that would nevertheless offer a significant improvement in performance, according to the first impressions of the media.
Where the most significant changes come is on the inside, since in addition to the new Snapdragon 845 processor, the team arrives with a double front camera to offer selfies with greater amplitude thanks to a wide-angle lens. This angular vision can be modified comfortably through a slider that will appear on the screen, another of the new functions introduced in the camera software. Unfortunately the team arrives with 4 GB of RAM, an amount that we would have liked to see reach 6 GB and with 64 GB and 128 GB of storage depending on the version.

The best camera, improvement
Google has boasted in its camera conference with that offered in the Pixel 2 XL , and now ensures that artificial intelligence algorithms have been improved to offer better results. In a comparison shown in the event, it was possible to see a snapshot captured in low light conditions by the iPhone XS faced with one of the new Pixel 3 XL, the latter being far superior in vividness of colors and lighting. This tries to show that the results have been improved even maintaining the same sensor of 12 megapixels that we already found in the Pixel 2 XL. The good news? That these improvements will also reach the previous generation with a software update.
As you can see, on paper there are no major differences that determine the purchase of Pixel 3 XL versus Pixel 2 XL , although as always we will have to perform the appropriate tests to know all the details in person.
