The first thing that surely catches your attention is the difference in the size of the screens . We have from the smallest game, the Razer Phone 2, with 5.7 inches, which could be considered almost a “small tablet”, with the Huawei Mate 20 X 7.2 inches . In the middle are the Honor Play with 6.3 “and the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo with 6.01 inches. Technologies and panel resolution are also somewhat disparate. Xiaomi and Huawe opt for the OLED and Full HD +, something that also makes the Honor phone but with an LCD screen. The Razer team is totally different from the group, with a IGZO QHD screen that also offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz .

In this case the weight will also be something to consider. Mate 20 X weighs 232 grams and Black Shark Helo – whose photo you have under these lines, by the way – marks 190 grams on the scale. The Honor Play is the lightest, with 176 grams, although, of course, that’s because we do not know how much Razer’s phone weighs.

At the processor level we have two different sides. While Huawei and Honor, as a family they are, opt for a Kirin processor in the house, Xiaomi and Razer have c0n Snapdragon heart 845 Qualcomm. Honor stays slightly shorter in RAM with 4 GB, while the rest have 6 or 8 GB (Huawei and Razer, respectively). Xiaomi here gives a blow on the table with an option of nothing less than 10 GB, in addition to being the one that offers greater internal storage capacity (up to 256 GB).

As for the camera , there is also a clear winner, in favor of the Mate 20 X, which inherits the triple camera system of its new Mate brothers, thus offering more capture possibilities than none. If you buy a game phone, it is probably not the aspect that most takes away your sleep, but we should not stop appreciating its capabilities.

Counting all with Android (again Huawei at the top, with the most updated version), it is interesting to look at your battery . It is true that the Mate 20 X is ahead, with 5,000 mAh, support for Qi wireless charging and Wireless Reverse Charging (the load to other equipment per contact), but also its screen is larger so you would have to see how it really translates in terms of autonomy. They are followed by Xiaomi’s phone and then Razer’s with 4,000 mAh, although the Californian company has decided to bet on Quick Charge 4.0+ and Qi wireless charging, which the Chinese house does not do. Finally to the tail is Honor with a worthy 3,750 mAh that however stay shorter compared to the competition.

The Honor Play is also the only one in the group that does not come with internal cooling , something that is present in the other three phones. Xiaomi thus has a double system of copper pipes; Huawei with cooling based on graphene; and Razer with a solution with steam chamber.

We end this confrontation, of course, talking about prices . The cheapest is the Xiaomi team, with a price of 400 euros approximate (this is a conversion of its price in China, since there is still no international marketing data). Honor Play follows with 499 euros and then the Huawei phone that almost doubles the cost with a tag of 899 euros -you have seen that benefits also have many differences between them. Razer is placed in the 700 euros, again approximate, since it is again a conversion to expect an official price for Spain – which we already predicted will probably be higher.

Faced all, with what do you stay?
