According to the records behind the app , the tablet exceeded 270,000 points and models such as the iPhone 8 and iPhone X moved between 222,000 and 225,000 points .
The processor of the iPhone Xs is unbeatable
However, those figures are for the memory if we consider the first performance test done to the processor of the iPhone Xs (and by extension to the iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR ). And is that the Apple A12 Bionic, with its architecture of six cores at 2.49 GHz and quad-core GPU has literally wiped out AnTuTu with a total score of 363,525 points .
Not only do we talk about exceeding by far the previous generation of processors of the company itself, but it leaves in a clear disadvantage the competition that equips the most powerful chip to date, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 .
In fact, just a few weeks ago we echoed the most powerful Android smartphones registered during the month of August. The models with the latest Qualcomm platform clearly predominated on the list. However, the approximately 293,000 points achieved by the Xiaomi Black Shark are at a clear disadvantage compared to 363,525 points in the iPhone Xs.
If we break down the scores, we can see how the graphical performance of the GPU affects the test in a very positive way at a general level, with practically twice the score obtained by the graphic chip of the previous model .
Kirin 980 and Snapdragon 855, in a few months
Now it remains to see the next moves of the competition. Do not expect too much since Huawei is about to present the new Huawei Mate 20 Series , where the Huawei Mate 20 Pro with SoC HiSilicon Kirin 980 – also in 7 nanometers – promises equally surprising results.
As for Qualcomm, the new generation of 7-nanometer chips in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 will be available by the end of the year, so we can expect to see the performance improvement over the popular Snapdragon 845 early in 2019 .
